CS 708: Class Project: Classes and Sample Application

Download cs708-classproject-classes.zip.
The zip file contains additional documentation on the class project as well as some classes, database files, modules and a sample application exe.

The class project has been reduced to just maintaining the users table in the system. This function requires understanding how to work with classes and collections, etc. as much as the task list itself.

Notes:
12/1/2002 - The example program, classproject.exe, that is included in cs708-classproject-classes.zip, stays in memory after you close the form. Just press [ctrl] [alt] [delete] to display the "Task List," then click on Project1, then click on the "End task" button.

CS-708 Class Project Assignment

Due Date: December 13, 2002.
This file is also available in Microsoft  Word format (.doc) and in Rich Text  Format (.rtf).
Note: Sometimes Microsoft Word files get corrupt when downloaded using Netscape or Mozilla via HTTP. If the .doc file is corrupt, then download the .rtf version.

For class this Friday, 11/8/2002, please have the following:

1. An approach to doing the menuing - you can use buttons versus the Visual Basic drop downs if you like.
   
2. An idea of the classes and objects that might be necessary for the project.
   

The class design will be done during the Friday session.
