Men have championed
Reason
Reason and rationale
They say
Will bring order
I see only
The horrors
Visited upon us
By the super-rational
There's no reason
To a river's flow
Only the rhythm
Of the elements
No reason
To the ochre glow
Of the sun's rise and ebb
Only the rhythm
Of colours
No reason
To the union of
Man and woman
Only the rhythm
Of souls

Yes
There exists
A perfect order
In the world
But not the one
We strive in vain
To impose
